about
Ladies and gentlemen, we are floating in space.
An experience of the supernatural from my earliest memories, astrology would become one crayon in the crayon box. At age 12 I started on the path towards Catholicism while still keeping up astrological and kabbalistic studies. I converted to Judaism, being acknowledged within the congregation as a “sod” seeker. In other words, I don’t divorce the esoteric from the exoteric as they mutually complement each well.
In 2010, I started studying Tibetan and Japanese esoteric Buddhism with different teachers, receiving an initiation from Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche before going on to study Daoist philosophy. Needless to say, I adhere to a syncretist philosophy. Today, I choose to be without congregation, coven, or caste. After about 12 years of astrological study and 3 years of part time consultation I had to move it online.
In addition to astrology, I’ve had many unique learning opportunities from amazing teachers that may or may not offer certifications, diplomas, or magic wands. The real reward lies in the personal, and much less academic synthesis of subjects I am passionate about.
Haute Knights is a Mercurial mandala for the esoterically curious. I’m an independent researcher and astrologer. Saturn, my chart ruler, ingrained a lasting fascination with tools demarcating periods of time. It was a natural transition from clocks and sundials to astrology.
My astrological studies have comprised medieval, modern, and traditional streams. I approach astrology from within the crossroads of all these; I use medieval astrological concepts consistently in my work, but sometimes I use outer planets and I don’t subscribe to fatalism over free will.
My first love is electional astrology, a timing method used for planning many different types of important events, whether that be a wedding or evocation. I am also an horary practitioner certified for the School of Traditional Astrology (STA).
